I’ve been sooo busy, I nearly forgot…….Today is our 2nd year anniversary, here at Beauregard. (Due to annoying PC crash, late last night…read ‘yesterday’).

And I’m sooo busy, I don’t have the time or energy to get it all down here.
Maybe a very quick recap of the last few weeks:
Schools out for [...]

We have football tournaments and outings, the same with rugby and riding. The choir is having a [...]

We planted ourselves to one side, not far from the wine stall, the poubelles and a very handy hedge. We danced and swayed [...]

We were woken at 5am on Saturday morning by fierce winds and horrible noises…too scary to be lying awake in bed, just inches from the roof. I took Diddy [...]

The kids and I received an invitation to the Margueron school kine/loto evening, held at the very swanky Halle de Fêtes. So at 8 o’clock, we ventured into the night and took up our places, for a fun-packed evening of bingo.
Kine or loto is a very popular winter sport in these parts. It is enthusiastically supported [...]

The following weekend, 16th August, is medieval day at Duras, followed the next day at Villeneuve-de-Duras, just down the road.
This is an annual event organised to celebrate the rich cultural and historical significance of the Dropt valley. Which is all a bit of a mouthful and suspiciously like the sort of thing organised for a school trip….but it’s [...]
