I can’t lie so I’ll tell you what this is about…..I’m beginning my preparations for my pending move to France. Ok, it’s not that pending, it’s not happening until Easter next year, all things being well! But I need to set up a blog for the business that I’ll be doing when I get there and I thought the best way was to set up a dummy run, so to speak.So here it is!

I’ve been researching over the net for the past few weeks, which has addled me brain and the consensus of opinion seems to be that WordPress is the best for my type of venture.

I managed to log on to a few other sites as an admin person in order to get a feel for the package before committing and to be honest, not much made sense!

When I sussed that I could set one up for free I guessed it would be the best thing to do…you never know, it may be the start of a long and beautiful relationship…..let’s hope so!

Update October 2006

Ok, so that was a while ago now and I am much better at the comings and goings of a blog, so I have decided to keep this up and running. I’ve got kind of fond of my Beauregard Blog now!

I have even changed the name and it has it’s own Domain now, so I guess this makes it official.
